Turkmenistan Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights

Turkmenistan Helsinki Foundation for human rights (THF) is an independent non-governmental organization founded on July 21, 2003 in the city of Varna, Bulgaria. THF is a voluntary society of citizens who wish to monitor the human rights situation in Turkmenistan. The THF does not serve individual parties or party coalitions. THF successfully works with such issues as: "The judicial and penitentiary system of Turkmenistan", "Violation of the rights of citizens to receive education", "Health care: the right of citizens to health and receive medical care", right to freedom of movement and etc. THF's goals are to safeguard the human rights of the people in Turkmenistan and to sharpen the attention of the democratic world to the situation in the country.
