The Association humanrights.ch was founded in 1999. It aims at better incorporating human rights into daily life by

• raising the awareness of public opinion on human rights issues,
• organising projects in the field of education on human rights,
• providing information to non-governmental organisations,
• coordinating and compiling complementary NGO reports on human rights conventions.

Activities of humanrights.ch include the publication of statements and NGO reports, cooperation with the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Human Rights (SCHR), and professional support of advice centres for victims of racial discrimination. humanrights.ch provides an information platform offering news on the Swiss human rights policy as well as on important developments in international human rights institutions and providing a documentation on norms and institutions in the international human rights sector and various cross-sectoral issues.
