Helsinki Committee for Human Rights

The Helsinki Committee for Human Rights analyzes human rights policies and trends in Serbia within the broader socioeconomic and political context and provides relevant policy recommendations. The organization is particularly focused on tracking the state’s democratic transition and reformist potential, responses to transitional justice, and the degree of tolerance exhibited by decision makers and society at large. The Committee considers itself duty-bound to alert stakeholders, including government officials, international organizations, and members of the general public, to impermissible policies and to advocate best practices that reflect international norms.
